The first time we had Dante in the same room as the other cats, he ran up to Sebastian and bit him on the back. And jumped on his back. He was pretty aggressive towards both Sebastian and Yaffa, he just wants to jump them whenever he sees them. So I've resorted to putting him on a leash, so I can control how much interaction they get without beating each other up. Everyday, they get to see each other and be in the same room, but for now, only with a leash. In this photo, here he is doing the steer down, I want to pounce you. Dante is not ready to be in the room alone with them. He is just too aggressive. When he bit Sebastian, he took a chunk of his fur off with his teeth and scared both Sebastian and myself. So I am hoping he learns to be near them without wanting to hurt them. It's been almost 3 weeks, and its been a slow process. I hope next week, I can show you all pictures of them in the same room with no leash.

Oh, I do hope Dante settles down soon and stops making with the bitey and pouncy! It does sound as though he may not have been treated very well in his previous home and perhaps as a result he thinks the best line of defence is attack because he hasn't realised yet that he's now with nice beans and kitties. I'm sure he will settle but it may take a while.
Thanks for your comment. I'm sorry I haven't been by for a while. I get so behind ::sigh:: :) xxx
Wow! He is very aggressive :-0 I don't blame you for putting Dante on a leash. I hope soon he'll lose some of his aggressive nature since he just had his operation.
I am keeping my paws crossed that there will be a peace in your household soon!
The leash sounds like a good way of letting them be togefer. Dante, you musn't bitey chunks of fur !!
BARK!! Welcome to the dog zone!! Come see what we got for you!- BARK!!! Sasha the Princess!
It does take time. I hope that since he's had his operation he'll calm down and get to be buddies with everyone!
oh my i hope that dante will learn to luf his brofurs. Mus be hard on alla dem kittehs.
MAYBE DANTE IZ VAMPIRE?!
Oh i Hope they make up too. We just got some too for our two kitties, Jedla and Gobi. Gobi hates and will not walk right. But it will help with the move.
Watch out~!!!
I think you are at not very good position~!!!
I hope Dante won't scare you!!!
Oh no! I hope he settles down soon. Just keep an eye on that bite - bites from other cats can result in abscesses (alas, I have too much experience with that - nasty business). Best wishes.
I really hope they start getting along. We've been together for years, and sometimes you just have to pounce.

Dante is a bad kitty! I hope he calms down soon! At first I thought he was doing a workout on that leash. Good luck to you guys!
