This sign on my street corner stopped me dead in my tracks. A lost ferret? That's something you don't see everyday. I wonder how this ferret became lost. Maybe he ran away and snuck out a window. Poor little guy. I hope someone finds him soon, and doesn't think he's a subway rat. The streets of Brooklyn is no place for a cute ferret.

Dennis is reminded of the "Cat Found" poster in which the cat is described as kind of wild and bitey and scratchy--and peeing all over everything--the photo on the poster is that of an opossum. A cute joke poster.
Of course ferrets are another matter people are crazy and choose them as a pet over a nice good reliable cat. --best to let the ferrets roam free with the Opossums though.
That poor ferret, but they are slippery little critters like us and could have run out a door... I hope he is found.
