Foam Insulation

A few months ago, the cats were hiding from these people. We had contractors come in to insulate the attic. They brought in this large tube, and blew foam in between the wood beams on the underside of the roof. It made a loud noise, so the cats were pretty scared. They were glad when they left. We feel a big difference in the temperature!

Oh, how we envy you! This old house has no insulation. When a previous landlord sold the property he had siding put on. But he didn't insulate. Or put in new windows. Or put the shutters back on. We think we're going to go take a nap now. We're suddenly very hot and tired.

We are glad that the noise and mess was worth it! (Warm is always better for cats than cold!)

Havin a house what is nice temperature alla time is very worth a bit of disruption an noise. So long as it isnt TOO much noise...

That must have been scary having noisy strangers around! But nice to be warm!

We so need that ourselves! Our insulation is as old as the house and quite ineffective. It's why when it gets hot out it stays hot in!
