Matsui, Posada, Jeter Oh My!

We had a very exciting day yesterday. Went to the Yankees vs. Rays game. We lucked out with the weather. It was supposed to rain, the clouds were building but not a single drop. The Yankees have a new stadium, and we were so impressed by it. So nicely designed and easy to navigate. We sat in the bleachers and was able to see everything! We really wanted to see Joba pitch but starting was Andy Pettitte. Oh well. They did end up winning 5-3 because of 5 home runs from the Yankees. Swisher hit two of the 5. Go Swisher!
Here are some of the photos from the game.

Here is the old Yankees stadium.

New Yankees stadium

The new stadium has a great layout and is so easy to find your seats. We sat with the bleacher creatures.

Jorge Posada is my favorite Yankee. Here he is warming up near the bleacher seats.

Looks like you had a good time. Going to the game is so much better than trying to watch it on TV.

We hear the new Yankee Stadium is just amazing -- sounds like you had a pretty good time there.

Not to go all nit-picky, but...Derek Jeter in the left-hand batter's box? Um... as the saying goes, "What's wrong with this picture?" :-)
