Something new and soft
We got a new rug for the living room and boy is it comfy! Sebastian and Yaffa are enjoying it to. They came right up to smell it to see if it was to their liking. And it's super soft so they relaxed on it. I just hope they don't scratch it up since lately all 3 cats have been using the rugs as their own personal scratching pads.

Just make sure they have plenty of scartching posts and growl at them and then place them where you want them to scratch if they do so on the carpet.
There's a certain meezer in our house who was attacking the carpet. In the two places she preferred, Mom had to put down industrial strength rugs so the meeze could claw without wrecking things. We don't think it's very attractive but a mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do sometimes.
I think they are plotting to make it their own when woo leave the room!

What?! You mean rugs AREN'T big, room-sized scratchers? You could've fooled me.
I don't scratch on the carpet too much anymore, cuz momma always yells at me.
You'll have to get additional scratching posts to sharpen your clawrs.
