Removing the sod and tilling the dirt

Its been raining this week, but this has not stopped us from working on the garden. We have removed the sod completely, and rented a large roto-tiller and tilled the soil. We are planning to install a picket fence, and have dug up holes in the ground for the posts. Digging the holes for the posts was an all day process. We dug holes 2 feet deep, put the post in, and then added cement. Now we are ready to add the pickets for the fencing. And then finally start planting the seedlings. More photos to come!

That is going to be a great big garden. Mom is going to plant green beans and broccoli, just for me.
