Breaks my Heart

We were coming home from dinner with friends and we were on our street when we saw this stray cat right outside our neighbor's house. We stopped to see him, and he was the friendliest stray I had ever seen. He came right up to us and started to purr and rub up against our legs. Then he jumped up with his front paws on our legs to say hi. Here are some photos of the white kitty, in the picture you can see Kyle's legs. He was completely white except for his tail was grey / black striped. We think this used to be someone's pet because he was so extremely friendly. The cat had a couple of scars that concerned us, one on the top of his head and one on his arm. After a few minutes, the cat scurried into the neighbors yard. I had a hard time walking away, I really wanted to go after him and bring him home, just like what we did with our Yaffa Kitty. Sigh. I hope I see this cat again in the neighborhood.

Aww, it's so hard to see kitties without homes.

I'm sorry your litter box broke. I bet they are kind of spendy.

Poor kitty! I hope he finds a home soon. Or maybe he's just out on an adventure?

It's so hard to let them go and explore. When we lived in the apartment we had so many ferals around us, and they were very friendly and my Mom and Dad would feed them, and that's where Josie, Huggy Bear and Maggie all came from because sometimes you just have to bring some in. Then a little treat every now and then can go a long way for the strays, too.

We so hope he is safe and ok. It's a very dangerous place out there for friendly strays...

Such a cute kitty. We also have lots of stray cats here, actually the streets are full because nobody is doing something against this. Chica was a stray also. I have seen such beautiful kitties, but I cannot take them all which really gets me down sometimes.

I know it's heartbreaking to think he could be a stray. Hopefully he does have a home and it's just a matter that they let him go outside.

This is so sad. I hope that you see this furriendly stray again! This poor little kitty probably doesn't know how to care for itself on the streets since it is so furriendly.
