A very warm 81F today and sunny. It gets warmer every day now in New York City. Even though it is Spring, it's starting to feel like Summer. People all around the city in their shorts and skirts, and sitting outside eating al fresco. That's when you know Summer is here, its all the sidewalk dining.
One thing I absolutely love about the warm weather is all the amazing flowers in bloom. I got some Lilacs, one of my favorite flowers for the house. It smells incredible! If Spring had a smell, for me, it would be the scent of Lilacs.

I hope it does not get too warm so that you cannot enjoy those pretty flowers. We hate it when it does that.

That's the season I love the most ! Everthing looks so green and fresh and even the air smells better !
When we have been in NY in 1996 it was end July and very hot !
Those are lovely lilacs!! Mom loves lilacs! Last week it was up to 100. Now its in the 70's!

i totally agree! lilac is a fantastic smell! when we were children, we would stick them on the front of our bikes and ride so that the wonderful breeze would carry the smell right to our noses!
