I'm not allowed up here!

Dante knows that he's not allowed on top of the microwave in the kitchen, but he jumps up there anyway. He gives me this cute look like, "Am I doing anything wrong?" Dante loves to jump up to the highest point. He'd be on top of cupboards, the fridge, anything. We have to learn to keep things clear of stuff, because when he jumps up there, things go flying.

You surely couldn't tell him off after he has given you such a sweet and innocent look.

That looks like a very precarious spot. But FUN!

since diego doesn't listen to where he's not allowed to go, i've pretty much given up other than places where it's dangerous for him to be.

No cat is allowed on our microwave, and there's really no room for them either. When I have flowers I put them on the microwave because the cats like to eat the greenery and baby's breath. It's supposed to be a safe spot for my pretty flowers. Ollie will bad the bad one (can you believe that?), getting up on the microwave, to get to those flowers.

Well of course he's there. He's a meezer and knows there is no place that's really off limits!

I'm lucky that Praline isn't a jumper.

Praline: that's what you think, Mom!

I used to have a cat like that, Morty, who also loved to get up to the highest point in any room. It was more of a game than anything practical.
