Hey! Are you allowed on that?
Without fail, everytime we get new furniture, the cats claim it. This time I was a little angry though, because these are new cedar Adirondack chairs, and I already see scratch marks on them! Kitties, this is not a large scratch post! Argh! They are lucky they are cute!

We dont have much bare wood ta werk on here. The wood-framed waterbed is the best one. One corner of that is a BIT scratched up...
Y'know...that's the hardest thing...keeping us cats off of the stuff you don't want us on. Now, if you told us to go ahead and sit on it, we probably wouldn't be interested....

When my human got her brand new, Victorian-look, microfiber velvet couch, she cringed. But it's been around since last November and we haven't scratched on it (yet). I think it's something about the microfiber velvet not feeling very good to our claws.
We don't think we'd be able to resist all that wood!

Yes, the little monsters at our house have all been locked in prison due to claw marks on the couch.
