It's been a busy couple of days of work, leaving little time to blog. I did squeeze in some time to drop off a bookbag to
Operation Backpack. It's this amazing backpack drive to donate backpack and school supplies to homeless and needy children. My friend Ruth,
Suki's mom told us about it. This is the 2nd year we've participated and we get so excited putting together a bag for these school kids. Ruth and I shopped together too for our bookbags. Both of us were shopping for 3rd graders, her's was for a boy, mine was for a girl. Look how cute this pink bookbag is. Ruth got an orange one for her boy. We filled the bag with goodies, notebooks, filler paper, pencils, crayons, paint, and some cool folders. When I went to drop off the bookbag, I was so excited because there was a room filled with bookbags! How amazing! You can see my bag, its the one on the top on the table, because there was no more room in the boxes. There are thousands of children that need school supplies so its great to see that there are many volunteers in NY that have participated in this great cause!
