Rock a Bye Baby

Sebastian kitty was sleeping curled up next to me one day as I was reading a magazine in bed. You can see me in this photo on the bottom, right are my glasses. I had to take a closeup of him napping. He looks so peaceful and sound asleep. Though, 2 seconds after I took this photo, he opened his eyes, and gave me a dirty look for waking him. Little kitty, I can't help but want to cuddle him when he's this cute!!

I absolutely adore these photos! The cats like to do this thing when they think no one is watching. They sit next to each other and look like they are telling each other secrets. I was on the computer one day, when I looked over to the bed, and I saw the cats sitting side by side. I grabbed the cellphone camera and quickly took these photos of Yaffa and Sebastian. Look how Sebastian kitty on the right is sitting so politely with his arms folded up in front of him. How completely regal! But on closeup on photo 2, check out Yaffa's grin and Sebastian's smirk! She looks like she just told Sebastian the best secret!!

Kiss, Kiss

Mommy Yaffa cat and Sebastian kitty cat can be so affectionate. Here they are giving each other kisses. I always catch them grooming each other, and giving each other a kiss on the head or cheek. They are such a lovable mom and kitty pair!

Sleeping like a ball

Yaffa and Sebastian Kitty have been perfecting the act of sleeping like a ball. They curl up their little bodies, and look like one round puff ball. I like how Sebastian sticks his little paw out. Whenever I see him in this position, I can not resist rubbing his little paw pads. Then he wakes up and scowls at me. Aww, cute kitty.

Stretch

I caught Yaffa doing a big stretch one day. She takes her arm and reaches all the way out in front of her. Looks like a good cat stretch! Sometimes I see her doing that and then she throws in a nice yawn too.

Where is Sebastian?

It's a balmy 71F degrees here in Brooklyn today. Quite warm weather we have been having lately. We had the window open, and little Sebastian kitty has been taking in the cool breeze. Check out where he is sitting!

Happy Belated Easter

The cats have been awfully mad at me, because I've been a slacker with posting on the blog. I've tried to apologize, though the cats would not hear of it. They said, mom, I don't care if you work 50 hr weeks, and you have chores to do around the house. It's your JOB to post our daily cat activities. I meant to post something this past Easter weekend. Especially since I caught Yaffa sitting on the bed, hanging out with Bunny Bunny. Bunny Bunny is my oldest childhood toy. Bunny Bunny is 27 years old, and his fur is pretty ratty, but I love this stuffed animal because it's cuddly, and is full of memories. The cats seem to like him too.

Cute Yaffa

Yaffa was sitting next to me one day on the couch, and I saw her, getting ready to take a nap. So I took this photo, because she looked so cute, with her head resting on her arms. With her eyes getting all drowsy, and minutes away from a cat nap. So cute!

Twins

The cats are really quite close to each other. Where ever one is, the other is not far behind. They love to hang out together whenever possible. I caught them one day on our bed, just hanging out. Don't they look like twins? Well, not twins exactly, since they don't have the same fur, but they're mannerisms are quite the same, and they act like copy cats, "twins". Sebastian likes to mimic mommy cat and vice versa.

Our new visitor.

So we've had a daily visitor lately by our Kitchen window. He comes by everyday, to "knock" on the window, to see if he can get inside. We keep a bird feeder on our fire escape, and our new friend goes there frequently. But he's also discovered our kitchen window, which wafts of food smells. Luckily for him and us, there is a screen to block him from coming in. Otherwise, the cats will have a field day with the new creature!

Can you both fit up there?

Who knew that both cats could fit on that little ledge on the radiator. How cute are they?? The cats love to hang out together. Even if they barely have the room.

Yaffa Likes this Spot Too

I found Yaffa one day, taking over Sebastian's favorite spot in the apartment. She was taking a cozy nap on the radiator. Doesn't she look so cute? I just want to rub her belly and give her kisses. Today went up to the 50s! So the cats will probably be bored of this spot soon, since it's getting warm again.

Giving Mom a Big Hug

Sebastian likes to act like he's a big kid. He is afterall 1 1/2 now. He pretends like he doesn't like mommy cat doting on him, cleaning his fur, cuddling him. When we're watching he acts like he's sayin, "aw, mom, cut it out." BUT, when we aren't watching, I see him giving mommy Yaffa cat hugs, and cuddling while sleeping. I did catch him one day with the camera when he wasn't looking, here he is giving momma Yaffa a big hug as they take an afternoon nap.

Afternoon Sun

This past weekend, Yaffa was sitting on the couch with me enjoying the afternoon sun. She loves the afternoon sun rays. She just soaks it up. Her spot on top of the couch is perfect for the setting sun. Look how nice this photo came out, so heavenly and artistic.

Warm and cuddly

I saw Sebastian Kitty the other day taking a nap late in the afternoon. His new favorite spot has been sitting on top of the living room radiator. The radiator doesn't get that hot, so he likes to sit on top to stay snuggly warm on these cold winter nights. Look how adorable he is, it makes you want to go and give him a hug. I don't dare wake him though, or else he'd be angry. But, He's so darn cute!

Watching TV

Sebastian and Kyle are best friends. I think it's because Sebastian thinks that Kyle is his brother cat, ever since Sebastian was born, he's been stuck to Kyle. Where ever Kyle is, Sebastian is not far behind. Here they are watching some TV in bed. They are watching their favorite show, Futurama. I think Sebastian Kitty likes this show because our crayfish was named after one of the characters, Dr. Zoidberg, and so he gets a kick of seeing an animated version.

This is my bed!

I took this picture of Sebastian the other day. He has this look on his face like he's saying, "This is my bed, you got a problem with that?" I just smile and I pick him up and cuddle him, and he quickly runs away, because like any boy, he doesn't want to admit that he likes to cuddle.
