more Halloween

This is the house of a neighbor of ours that lives 2 blocks away. Every year they decorate the house with spooky fun decorations. Isn't it amazing! We love people who get into the holiday spirit!! All the neighborhood kids love coming here for trick and treating!!

Hope you had a good Halloween. And to answer the last post, the winner of the Halloween dog parade was the G train! It was so original!!

Happy Halloween Brooklyn '08!

This past weekend we attended the doggie Halloween parade in McGorlick Park, Brooklyn. Even though we don't have a dog in our family, we decided to go out and cheer on the neighborhood doggies.

There were so many dogs with cute costumes on! This dog said his costume was an average working Joe. hahah!

We also saw a rock and roll star!

How cute is this lady bug??

A skunk!!

The "G" subway train, hahahaha!

And these little green fairies!

All the costumes were amazing!! Guess who won the grand prize of best costume?

Happy Halloween everyone!!

Cats for Obama!

Update:
We still will vote the Chey / Derby ticket.
Gatos for president!

Weeks back, I had signed up through Move.org for a free Obama button. It finally came in yesterday! Sebastian was really interested in it. Sebastian Kitty thinks Obama is a great man and that Palin is beyond scary. He's scared that she shoots cute furry things for fun.

This button came just in the nick of time, since next week is the big day!

Viva La Mexico!

I have to wait for our wedding photos to be ready. In the meanwhile, I've posted some photos of our honeymoon! We went to Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Wow, it was like paradise. The water is so clear and blue, and the snorkeling was amazing.

This first photo was taken on a ferry, on our way to the Island of Cozumel. Cozumel is directly across from Playa. Cozumel is known for their coral reefs so we did a lot of snorkeling there. We saw an enormous Barracuda fish!

This next photo is one of the beaches in Cozumel. At this beach, it was a bit rocky, lots of big rocks along the coast. We did a bit of snorkeling here, and saw a lot of small tropical fish.

This is a picture of me with a man dressed up like a Mayan. He had the most amazing costume, don't you think?

Headbutt

I took this photo yesterday morning. It's so cute, it looks like Yaffa and Sebastian are giving each other head butts in their sleep! They are so funny when they cuddle like that!

May The Force Be With You!

We got back from our honeymoon on Tuesday night, and I am finally getting around to blogging again. It's been a whirlwind of a week. Here are some photos I promised. We had the best wedding, and SO MUCH FUN!! It went so fast, it was a blur. I really wish time went a bit slower and that I could've been in more than one place at once, so I could've have really experienced the whole wedding. The whole time I felt like we were running around, it was quite hectic at times. But we really did enjoy ourselves.
The baker did an amazing job on the cake! I love our cake topper, it was a perfect fit for the cake. The cake was chocolate cake, with buttercream frosting and cappuccino filling and was so tasty! We have the top of the cake in our refrigerator, and we already started eating it!! Who wants to wait for our one year anniversary??

This is the Yoda cake that my friend Tracy made. I ordered this cake as a surprise groom's cake for my husband. He was really surprised and excited. It was so hard to keep a secret! The cake was delicious, inside was Red Velvet cake with whipped cream and buttercream. Oh My god, so yummy! She did such an amazing job on getting the likeness of the cake right. All the Star Wars fans were very impressed.

On the dance floor and getting down! Check out Kyle's Red Converses! We wanted our wedding to be completely untraditional and the Red Chucks added some flair.

I will definitely post some more photos, and download our vacation photos! More to come!

PS, I missed visiting everyone's blogs! Will catch up this week!

Mom: To grandma and grandpa's house for a week?

Dante: But whhyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?

Mom: Dante, we discussed this, mom and dad are getting married tomorrow and we can't trust to leave you alone all by yourself with the other cats.

Dante: But whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?

Mom: Because Dante we are afraid you will pounce on them while we are away.

Dante: Grrrrr (in a whisper) I'll pounce on you when you get back. Muhahawhahawaha

Margaret Cho Rocks!

This Saturday, my friends and I saw the incredible Margaret Cho! She is so amazingly funny. I think I was laughing the ENTIRE time. She played Radio City Music Hall which was the first time I've seen a show there. Radio City is beautiful inside, really majestic. What I love about Margaret is that she is a comedienne with no filters. She will say whatever she feels like, and usually for a laugh. And she has the greatest facial expressions. The Beautiful Tour far exceeded my expectations! It was so much fun!

If you can't name one newspaper or magazine that you have read, then you don't belong in the White House.

I am at a loss for words!

How can a queston like, "What newspapers or magazines do you read?" be so hard to answer? EVEN IF PALIN doesn't read one ounce of current news, couldn't she at least bullshit the answer? I mean come on, ever heard of NY Times, Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, Newsweek, Boston Herald, LA Times, USA Today not one of these publications ring a bell for you????
