Afternoon Sun

This past weekend, Yaffa was sitting on the couch with me enjoying the afternoon sun. She loves the afternoon sun rays. She just soaks it up. Her spot on top of the couch is perfect for the setting sun. Look how nice this photo came out, so heavenly and artistic.

More Copycats Sleeping

I caught the cats again sleeping in the same position. They are such a splitting image of each other. Copycats, copycats, I see a copycat!

Copycats Sleeping

I love it when the cats copy each other. This photo is particularly cute because they are sleeping in the same exact position. They truly are copy cats!

Warm and cuddly

I saw Sebastian Kitty the other day taking a nap late in the afternoon. His new favorite spot has been sitting on top of the living room radiator. The radiator doesn't get that hot, so he likes to sit on top to stay snuggly warm on these cold winter nights. Look how adorable he is, it makes you want to go and give him a hug. I don't dare wake him though, or else he'd be angry. But, He's so darn cute!

Watching TV

Sebastian and Kyle are best friends. I think it's because Sebastian thinks that Kyle is his brother cat, ever since Sebastian was born, he's been stuck to Kyle. Where ever Kyle is, Sebastian is not far behind. Here they are watching some TV in bed. They are watching their favorite show, Futurama. I think Sebastian Kitty likes this show because our crayfish was named after one of the characters, Dr. Zoidberg, and so he gets a kick of seeing an animated version.

This is my bed!

I took this picture of Sebastian the other day. He has this look on his face like he's saying, "This is my bed, you got a problem with that?" I just smile and I pick him up and cuddle him, and he quickly runs away, because like any boy, he doesn't want to admit that he likes to cuddle.

Cat Yoga

I love it when Sebastian cleans his fur and he does these amazing leg stretches. It's amazing how he can get his long legs to reach so high! You can't tell from this angle, but he has his leg high above his head. It always makes me think that he is doing Cat Yoga.

I laugh at blinds!

We have blinds on every window of our apartment to have "privacy" from our close by neighbors. We do, afterall live in Brooklyn, where I can put my hand out the window and practically touch my neighbor's window. Both of our cats love looking outside the window, to peer down at the people on the street and to see what's going on. Blinds don't stop them. Silly humans, they say!

What are you looking at?

Sebastian sure has been a little frisky lately. First it was the goldfish, but it seems he's gotten bored of them and now, has moved onto the other furry pets in the house. He's been checking out Tony the hamster. Sebastian can't get enough of the other pets. He tells us that he just want to be "friends", but somehow we don't believe him.

Sushi Anyone?

Sebastian has been doing this new thing lately. It's called harassing the other family pets. I was getting ready for work one day, and I see in the corner of my eye, Little Sebastian kitty perched high above the fish tank! I looked over to him and gasped, and Sebastian kitty looked over at me, and gave me this, what mom, and I'm not doing anything wrong look.

I ran over there, and picked up the little guy, and said, fishies are not food, they are pets. Luckily for Fred the goldfish and Dr. Zoidberg the crayfish, there is a plastic cover on top of the tank, that would prevent Sebastian from tasting them.

Check out Yaffa momma cat on the bottom, looking up at him, as if she was saying, I wouldn't do that if I were you.

Can you come in and play?

I saw the cats intently looking out the window one day. They were sitting there as quite as a mouse. What were they looking at, we have our usual squirrel, on our fire escape, so I went over to peek at them.

Sebastian had his little ears down, he was in pounce mode. I looked outside the window and saw a bird sitting quietly on the fire escape. I think it is a morning dove.

Though Kyle calls it a brown pigeon. Whatever it is the cats want to pounce it. Lucky for the bird, there is a big pane of glass separating them.
